Dear Father, thank You so much for giving us our mothers. Thank You for the life they gave us, the joys they shared with us, and the sacrifices they made for us. Help us Father, never to forget how they cared for us, nurtured us, and taught us. In the Name of our Savior we pray, Amen.

Thank you Jeff, Even though my mom is still living I know I will miss her when she is gone. My heart breaks to know now that my dad is gone I am not able to be as close to her as I would like to be. Thank you for your memories because they are mine as well. Have a great Lord’s Day. Happy Mothers Day to all God’s blessed “Mother’s”
Thanks for the wonderful comments about your mom and all moms as well. We love and respect you and your family.
God bless.

Many many happy days and evenings were spent with your mom. Miss hewr as thought she was mine.
Jeff, your tribute to your mother reminded me of my own mother, and of how grateful I always will be for her. Among all her sterling attributes, one stands out to me, however. That was that she always stood by her husband in everything. With all our flaws as husbands (and I suppose your father had a few, too), it is to her honor and praise that she loved, honored and obeyed, clinging to him like glue, until death parted them (I assume they are not both still living). I never once heard my mother say a negative word about my dad, despite the fact that it could be observed by anyone who knew him well, he was not perfect.
I will say to the praise of my own wife Ellen, that she has stuck with me during a home Bible class on Thursdays now each week for 259 weeks while we studied 10 questions each week on each chapter in the New Testament — that is 5 years of keeping the house spotless and welcoming guests of all sorts. Now I have put these 2590 questions in a book and am dedicating it to her as a small token of my gratitude.
Solomon said it right, that a good wife has value far above rubies. God bless you for honoring your mother.
