Hot from the Oven
Nearly 400 people read our last posts - must be lots of preachers looking to move :).
Let’s start with the news wire. Now that America has been freed from the tyranny of the Olympics surely some of you are ready to move. Kyle Massengale who was the evangelism minister and associate at Roebuck Parkway in Birmingham is moving to take on that same role at Madison in Huntsville. We’re happy for him and wish him the very best. Roger Banks who was at Eastwood in Paris (that’s TN) will begin working with the Van Dyke church in Henry County. Aaron O’Bryan will be working with their young people.
One more bit on news before the big scoops. Shelton Peeler wants to make it clear that as of yet he has not accepted a job anywhere. He’s still looking. So, very good then.
The church in Mount Vernon, Illinois is looking for a pulpit guy.
This scoop from Jeremy Butt: Stantonville in West Tennessee is looking for a preacher. The man that has been there, Matt Cook is going with a mission team to Peru. We’re proud of Matt’s decision.
The Westmoreland church in Tennessee is looking for a good man. It sounds like a place that may be ready to move forward.
My uncle Dan gets the scoops of the week for another Florida church looking. The Central congregation in Winter Haven (sounds awesome) is looking for a new minister. You can call Tom Cook on his cell phone for details 863 224-5873. He’s an elder there. Or you can email their secretary at: secretary@wh-churchofchrist.org.
Have a grand day in every way.
