The Hilldale Church of Christ in Clarksville, Tennessee is looking to hire a full-time minister for the start-up of a new congregation in the northern part of Clarksville. The “Barkers Mill” Church of Christ is the name of the new group. They are looking for someone who has the energy, desire, and faith to be the main catalyst in helping get this new congregation started in a proper/biblical way. The Hilldale eldership is committed to seeing this new congregation grow, thrive, and become self-supporting, and that means the eldership will be committed financially, professionally, and personally to the person who is hired for this most important ministry. If you want to know more or apply or have someone to recommend send an email to barkersmillcofc@gmail.com

The Coopertown congregation has hired WC Hartline so they aren’t looking anymore.

In Batesville, MS I’m told they are looking for an associate. This congregation has been a strong place with a good reputation as a good place for a minister for a long time. Call for more info: (601) 563-7859

Doug Smith gets a great big scoop with the report that Jason Roberts resigned from Forest Park in Valdosta, Georgia last Sunday evening. And, “That’s all I know about that”. You can contact Forest Park at 229 242-2174 of P.O. Box 2331 Valdosta, GA 31604.

Jeremy Butt let me know that the contact information for the Ephesus congregation in Maury County needs to be updated. The former minister passed away since the original poasting and the previous number now rings his widow. So be sensitive and contact: Wayne Voss (931) 381-1007 for more info about Ephesus (or just read the text).

The McPherson Church of Christ in Kansas is looking for a full-time pulpit minister (I sort of grin anytime I read that, as if they are wanting someone to minister to their pulpit :), yes I know what they mean, but my mind is weird) They want a married man.  It is a mission field and they want a man who has a passion for the lost. McPherson has about 135 members, two elders and twelve deacons. They have a full-time Youth Minister.  According to their email: “The city of McPherson has a population of around 14,000 and is located in the central part of Kansas about 50 miles north of Wichita.  It is a beautiful, safe community that consistently ranks in the “Top 100 Best Small Towns in America.”  McPherson County was recently ranked number 3 in “Best Places to Live in America” by Progressive Farmer magazine.” Sound like home to you? Contact preachersearch@mcphersoncoc.org (sounds like I’m selling houses now:)).
