Whole lotta scooping

You are probably aware that I get a lot of scoops I can’t confirm and I try not to publish anything I don’t have solid confirmation on. That means that often by the time I get a scoop “up” I’ve known about it for weeks but just couldn’t confirm it or didn’t want to break a confidence. For instance this week I have some that I’ve known about for 4 weeks and there are actually 3 on my list I don’t have confirmation or approval to “go public” with. That’s just a note for your edification :)

The biggest news in “our neck of the woods” is that our friend, Jonathan Jones, is moving to Maryville to work with the church there. Jonathan has been a tremendous blessing to the church here and to our work here. The Spring Hill church is a good work and I’m praying they will do as well with their next “hire” as they did with the last one. The Melrose Church of Christ a very active church of about 100 people just outside of Boston is officially looking for a preacher. The Leadership has challenged themselves, and the congregation to pray for God to send His Man to us, and for the wisdom to recognize him when he comes.
