Job Expectations: The elders of the Richland Road Church of Christ, an acapella church located in Marion, Ohio are in search of a pulpit minister. The current minister has faithfully and energetically served thecongregation for nearly 35 years, and is retiring in the fall of 2024. They desire to find a committed replacement that can serve this Central Ohio church for years to come. The Richland Road Church is one of the larger congregations in Ohio, with a reputation as being a Christ-first, Bible-centric, service-oriented family of believers. They are located in Marion, Ohio which has a population of 35,000. The church includes members from seven counties with a consistent attendance of around 300 spread between two Sunday morning services. They have an active social media outreach on Facebook and YouTube, and are involved in several community outreach activities. They are seeking a growth-minded minister to help them continue to grow in outreach. The current staff includes: Pulpit minister, Involvement minister, part-time Youth minister, part-time Children's minister, two secretaries and established elders and deacons. They have several children and youth ministries including: a youth group, special teen and children's classes on both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, church camp, Vacation Bible School, a teen retreat, an annual Bible Bowl competition, and frequent other activities. Adult ministries include: dynamic Sunday morning and Wednesday evening classes, small group bible studies, hospital visitation, emergency food pantry, monthly food & clothing community giveaways, and back-to-school supplies for community families, as well as special group ministries for the women, men and seniors.
