Preach Well

Preach the Gospel.

Preach the Gospel clearly - when one leaves there should be no doubt what God expects of them. Your job is never to cast doubt on the truths of God’s Word but to build people’s confidence in it.

Preach the Gospel lovingly - when you finish no listener should question the love of God for them. Yes, God hates sin, but He died for the sinner, why would we leave any question as to His great love for our hearers.

Preach the Gospel attractively - when you are done the glorious Gospel of our loving Lord should have been beautified by your words.

Preach the Gospel consistently - there will be plenty of events, distractions, and disturbances that might cause you to take your eye off the ball. Preach Christ and Him crucified.

Preach the Gospel passionately - you believe it, you love it, you have based your life on it. Don’t dare be more excited about sports, don’t for a moment be more passionate about a position on an issues, don’t for a minute be more convicted about a personal squabble - than your re about the Gospel.

Preach the Gospel believing - it is the only hope for sinners and believers. It is the power of God to salvation.

Preach the Gospel when you want to quit. Be called back away from the junk that is in your mind and has wrapped it around your heart, the leadership issues, the vision problems, the people who have attacked you, the weariness, to the Gospel. It will renew you.

Preach the Gospel.

Don’t quit preaching the Gospel.
