The Faithfulness of God to You

God has set so much in order that in their settledness we may forget that each of these are evidence of God and of God at work, of God and of God’s faithfulness, of God and God’s love, of God and God’s commitment to His Own Sovereignty.

“I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth” (Genesis 9:13).

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).

“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; iHis mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in Him’” (Lamentations 3:22-24).

“…so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:18 NASV).

“While they were eating, Jesus took some bread and thanked God for it and broke it. Then he gave it to his followers and said, ‘Take this bread and eat it; this is my body.’ Then Jesus took a cup and thanked God for it and gave it to the followers. He said, ‘Every one of you drink this. This is my blood which is the new agreement that God makes with his people. This blood is poured out for many to forgive their sins. I tell you this: I will not drink of this fruit of the vine[b] again until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom” (Matthew 26:26-29).

“I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).

The One who has “no one greater by whom to swear, He swore by Himself” (Hebrews 6:12) has promised, and He cannot lie (Titus 1:2) and it is sure. Each new season, each new year, each bow in the sky, each Sunday, even each new day remember, He loved you and will be with you!
