It’s At Your Fingertips...

I was thinking today about how simple it is to reach out and encourage someone. The postal service made it easy years ago but TODAY, well, the simplicity has increased dramatically. A short note, an email, a post on a Facebook wall, a Send-Out-Cards card, a free Hallmark e-card - any of them would only take a minute or two and you might save someone’s life, you will make their day, you may give them a word that keeps them going, or changes their whole disposition. It is absolutely amazing what we can do. Let’s use the technology we have for good.

Might I suggest you do it....now. And start making it a habit to send a short email to someone you love, someone who needs a word of encouragement, someone who you respect or who has touched your world and do it every day. Make it a habit. You’ll see dispositions change and you’ll see your little corner of the world made brighter. The ripple effect of this is enormous. Just a post or a note every day to someone(s) different.

You’ll start something great. And in that moment, you’ll be obeying the Lord’s Word:

“Exhort one another daily” (Hebrews 3:13). Start!
