Two Scoops in one week

Several different kinds of scoops this week:

The Mandarin Church of Christ in Jacksonville FL. is looking for a pulpit guy. I don’t know this church well but am told it has a number of the professors from FUA&M and FSU and that it is racially integrated.

This scoop from “that McMath man”-John: The Maud Church of Christ in Maud, Alabama (far western Colbert County right off the Natchez Trace) is looking for a preacher.  They provide a house.  They are looking to hire after January.  They are paying the preacher who just left until January.  A contact person is Sammy Johnson (256-360-2601).

Scooped - East Breinard in Chattanooga is looking for a YM and a pulpit minister. Drew CRRRRosby got me on this one.

Matt Pearson tells me that the Grant Street Church of Christ, in Decatur AL tonight filled the position several months ago. He did not tell me who was there.

Most of the guys who visit this site who are actually looking to move would rather not reveal their name. So most of the time we just list churches but let me mention two people who are looking. One is Will Baxter. Will is the grandson of Batsell but more than that is a very gifted young man himself. He is looking to get into preaching. If you’d like to contact him just let me know.
