The fruit of the Spirit cannot grow in a life overgrown by weeds. So you work and work and work to grow in love toward spouse, children, church family - but you have unresolved bitterness in your heart and you wonder why you struggle to act in loving ways or are unsuccessful in nurturing loving relationships.  Tend the garden so you can grow the fruit.
