Scoopy-do!!

Lots of big scoops today:

Jay Lockhart to Whitehouse, TX from Benton, KY.  Whitehouse is not too far from Tyler where Brother Jay preached a number of year.  Of course that means the church in Benton will be looking. Their webpage is http://www.bentonchurchofchrist.com/

It was announced this evening at the Palisaides congregation in Birmingham, AL that Paul Spurlin will be leaving there. He will become the new youth minister at the University church in Montgomery, AL. That church is just off the campus of Faulkner University and oversees SEC.  Palisaides will be looking. Paul will begin on May 1.

Sunday it was announced that Doug Yates will be leaving the education role at the Hilldale church in Clarksville to become the associate minister at the Henderson church in Henderson, TN. He loves the brethren at Hilldale but felt this was an opportunity he could not pass up.  Doug will begin on June 1.

It was announced last Wednesday that Andrew Phillips will become the new minister at Graymere in Columbia.  That means the Crittenden Drive congregation in Russellville, KY will be looking. It is a church of about 250 people. http://www.churchofchristcd.com/
