My friend Caleb says I should link this...PLUS a whole lotta links
I was honored to be a part of Recharge in California earlier this year. I love my west coast friends I've gotten to know the last few years through technology. Michael "The Ministry Geek" and Caleb have become dear to me through our work on "TheMinistryGeek" podcast @ http://www.TheEquipNetwork.com. We have more fun than preachers ought to have.
Caleb and crew are building something special at Recharge (http://rechargeme.org). I want to be of help to them. Here is my lesson from there.

My friend Adam does such a great job with his Friday Links Roundup. He's taken some time away from it and I miss it (Adam, it's good, get back to it soon :)). But I thought on this Saturday I would share a few things that have caught my mind recently (Senseless disclaimer: Obviously I don't always agree with everything all these guys say - Let's be honest, I don't even always agree with me!):
Jon Acuff is one of the funniest men alive but this one is serious: http://www.jonacuff.com/blog/kevin-smith-and-the-weight-of-criticism/ - Some of you need to read this.
Tim Spivey has written two or three blog posts the last few on youth ministry that are excellent. If my SM friends are reading this take some time with this: http://www.timspivey.com/my_weblog/2011/06/building-a-healthy-youth-ministry-pt-3-creating-the-habitat.html
Michael Hyatt is one of the better bloggers out there. This one was pretty powerful: http://michaelhyatt.com/what-to-do-while-you-are-waiting.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+michaelhyatt+%28Michael+Hyatt%29
My friends over at Heritage have posted an article on why people quit church worth your time: http://heritage-christian-university.blogspot.com/2011/06/ten-reasons-people-leave-church.html
And for you geeks - this was something I couldn't help but post: http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/2Br2f6/www.yankodesign.com/2010/05/25/in-2020-we-can-wear-sony-computers-on-our-wrist/
Seth Gooden is my third favorite writer. If you don't follow his blog, you should. He makes me think and makes me work smarter. Here are two short blog post from him: http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2011/06/which-of-the-four-are-getting-the-way.html
http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2010/12/measuring-busy-ness.html
I'm not sure why but Perry Noble gets my award for being my favorite blog to love/hate: http://www.perrynoble.com/2010/07/21/8-reasons-some-churches-do-not-grow/
Finally if my SM friends have held on. You need to RSS Scott Bond, JR. http://martinyouthministry.com/
