Scoops

The first scoop of the day is from our friend Sam Willcut. He has recently left the work in Munford, TN and says "I am sure that they would appreciate getting the word out, and I would be happy to talk with whomever about the position.” We are thrilled to announce that the Roebuck Parkway congregation where our Dad preached for more than forty years has hired their next Preacher.  Jason Moon who has preached for the Chase Park (formerly Memorial Parkway) for several years will be moving to Roebuck Parkway. We cannot think of any man who could do a better job filling this pulpit than Jason. He loves the Word of God and he loves the church just as our dad did. On a personal note Jason was one of our first Interns when we were with the College church in Montgomery. It has been a joy to watch him grow and prepare himself for this moment. Jason & his sweet family will be a tremendous blessing to the Roebuck Parkway church.

The above announcement means of course that the Chase Park congregation in Huntsville will be looking for a Preacher. If you would like to learn more about this great church you can see their website at http://www.cpcofc.org/?core=Homepage.

Hartsville, TN hired Dennis Hudgins.
