Equip Conference - September 9-10

The word Equip is a big one. Ten years ago Doug Burleson and I hosted EQUIP. A program to help train young men to preach and serve.  It was an awesome thing to be a part of. We made memories - like getting kicked out of the mall in Nashville for mall preaching :).  Then when Caleb O'Hara and I were working on our "family of podcasts" to put into a network we landed on "The Equip Network" or T.E.N. Last year I was asked to speak on a program for people who want to encourage the church in its involvement. It was the first such program that we could find directed solely at Involvement Ministers/Ministries. But quickly it became more broad that than that purpose as most anyone who wanted to learn how to encourage involvement was interested in it.  The first one was held at the Mount Juliet building. This year the program will be September 9-10 and will be at the Smyrna building.  David Shannon will keynote this year.
