What would you tell a senior?
It's graduation time and my friend Jeff asked me what I'd tell a graduate - feel free to add to my start - ...love, don't give up on people, avoid bitterness-it makes you ugly in every way, expect failure, plan for success, know there are many people who want the best for you, love, work-don't expect everyone else to pay your way, get to know some people older than you and love them till they die, get to know some people younger than you and love them till you die, don't blame your failures on others, do you best to only have sex with one person in your whole life-it will be great, love, have faith, be faithful, live your faith in faith, read the Bible a little every day, think about the kind of person you want to be and try to be that person, be kind, be willing to change, change, be willing to say truth even when it is not popular-but don't say truth mad, remember someone is going to do your funeral-give them good material to work with, when you do someone wrong apologize and do all you can to make it right, don't hold grudges, don't skip church, don’t leave a church because you don’t like someone, don’t expect to find the perfect congregation of people, create, be creative, laugh as much as you can at the right stuff, learn, don't stop trying new stuff, enjoy the ride, love....
