The Swartz Creek Church of Christ has a new opening for a Youth & Family Minister. Here is their note: "The leadership team at the Swartz Creek Church of Christ is seeking a man to come and work with our families and students. This grounded, balanced preacher should be passionate about youth and family ministries. He should be able to teach privately and publically as well as be involved in the community. Preference will be given to a married man with either a degree or practical experience in education. Swartz Creek has between 300-320 members and is currently led by two elders, 11 deacons and one preacher. We are approaching our 50th year, in 2015, of serving Christ in the Genesee County of Michigan that has more than 400,000 residents. Our goal is to grow the church through ministry and service by saving the lost and edifying the saved. Michigan Christians are serious about the Lord’s work. Our state and local economies were hit hard recently, but we are growing again. We are not a mission field but a region with a rich heritage of growing congregations. Although our work adapts to each season, we are unhindered in accomplishing God’s business. Minister applicants interested in the job may learn more information about our church family and the overall job description on our website: www.swartzcreek.net."
