Must be raining scoops because we just posted new ones a couple of days ago and now we already have several more. The following scoop to Chris Jones: The Antioch church in Snead, AL is in need of a pulpit minister. They are the only congregation in that part of Blount County, AL. Will Grice, scoops himself. He has been the youth minister at Central in Athens for about 5 years and will be moving NEXT August (that's 2013) to Nairobi, Kenya to work as a missionary. Central will form a selection committee around October and begin the search in January or February. The Lakewood church in Baytown, TX is looking for a pulpit minister who defines his ministry as preaching, teaching, and equipping others to serve. They are a church of 150 members that is seeking to grow. The Pearlington Church Of Christ,a small congregation located on the Ms. Gulf Coast. They are looking for a preacher. The Church started after hurricane Katrina as a result of Christians helping victims of the storm. Their attendance is 15 to 20 on Sunday mornings. They are looking for a man that is dedicated and willing to work. They receive support from a congregation in Nashville. Their note included this: "Due to limitations of salary, perhaps a young man fresh out of school looking to gain some preaching experience would be good.
