Whether it’s “The Cake Boss’s” la familia or “Duck Dynasty’s” gatherings around the table, happily it seems family is making a come back in America. Maybe Satan, that sinister slanderer, underestimated the kick back from godly people who seem to have finally tired of rolling over and giving in. Or maybe it is his cardinal weakness of thinking he’d won too soon (it was his undoing at the cross). Don’t let anybody fool you into thinking that they have the antidote to problems and/or challenges in marriage and the family. There is none. There will be conflict. When you put people together in any setting in this world, there will be troubles. There is only one way to stay together, only one way for your marriage to survive—don’t quit! Yes, there will issues that will confront you, and in this offering of Hope & Expectation, we offer some insights from excellent writers toward those answers found in God’s words.
