Snowy Scoops

We've got a bevy of scoops today. A bevy is just a large group a rather odd word, but I'd never used it before - but I have now.  As always share what you have and we'll share it forward with others. UPDATE: This job has been filled.  The Warner Robins church in Georgia is looking for a new preacher.  They are served by four elders.  They have a youth minister, Chris Blackwell.  They run a  food pantry and have multiple active ministries.  Robins AFB is located in Warner Robins, GA.   Several members are stationed there. Warner Robins is the favorite retirement community of all branches of the military. Richard Harp will be moving to work with the Marion, KY congregation.  He has been working as a missionary in Glasgow, Scotland with the East Kilbride church for the last 2 1/2 years.

Mike Howard sends that the Edgewood church in Greenville, SC.  This is a congregation of about 100 members. The Boiling Springs congregation in Boiling Springs, SC will be looking for a pulpit minister. The congregation has 4 good men as elders and is about 200 in size. Applicants can email elders@bscofc.org They currently have the retired preacher helping out in the interim. David Pharr has been the preacher there the last seven years.

Will Sharp has been hired as the new Campus Minister for the Central Church of Christ in Tuscaloosa (AL). He will be leaving the East Colbert congregation in Muscle Shoals.

David Shannon gets the points on this scoop: The Valley Road church about 20 miles outside of Philadelphia is looking for a minister.  They have about 50 members and are a very diverse and close church family.  To submit your info or find out more contact: john.coleman@genco.com

The Waterford congregation in Michigan is looking for a Family Life Minister.  They have four elders and the preacher is Chuck Anderson  They are a very evangelistic congregation that is training the members to bring people to Christ. They currently have over 36 members studying with new Christians on a weekly basis.  Their attendance runs around 320-340.  They are involved in Lads to Leaders. Houston Bynum gets this scoop: The church in Texarkana , TX is looking for a preacher. They are a church of about 160-180. Steve McIntosh has been the preacher there for over 25 years and is retiring. They have the a full time Youth Minister, six Elders, and ten deacons.
