AL/TX: Jim Lampley is leaving the 9th Avenue congregation to work with the Burleson (TX) church as their children's minister. That means the YM role is open at 9th as well as the pulpit role

TN: The Lafayette congregation is looking for a YM.  Terry Gillim is leaving that role after several years.  Their website appears to be down but here is the link to their FB page:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lafayette-church-of-Christ/243852862310421. Terry is looking for something nearby hoping for his daughter to be able to stay in her school this year.

AL: The Hoover Church has begun its search for a Youth and Family Minister. They are a congregation of 300+ in a rapidly growing suburb on the south side of Birmingham. The role includes: responsibility for planning, coordinating, and leading an active youth ministry for grades six through twelve and working with families to create an environment that develops and matures young people. Part of their post says: "He will be given the tools to do his work effectively, working under the oversight of an eldership of four men and alongside two fellow ministers. The ideal candidate is a married man with children and who has several years of experience in full-time youth ministry. He has a strong marriage, loves young people, and wants to work long-term in helping youth grow in their relationship to the Lord." MS: The Oxford (MS) Church of Christ is involved in a search for a new youth minister.  Their former YM has left after about 9 good years.  Their notice to us says: "(OXford) has a deep history of vital youth ministry and is committed to finding the right person to build on that strong foundation." AL: The Salem congregation in the Florence area has hired Andy Kizer to be their new preacher.

TX: The West Erwin congregation in Texas is looking for a new pulpit minister.  You can find out more about them at: http://www.westerwin.com/

TN: Jonathan Burns is moving to Pulaski to work with Paul Sain at East Hill.  This leaves Arrington near Nolensville, TN open.

NC: The Mountain Island church in Charlotte, NC is looking for a minister.  Terry Wheeler has been the minister for several years.  He is still there, but looking for a work closer to his grandchildren so he can retire there.  CONTACT Terry to learn more: charsaint@aol.com.

TN: The Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, TN is looking for a youth minister.  Part of their post to us says: "We are praying for and seeking a godly, spiritual man to lead our teens closer to Christ and the church.  A minimum of two years experience is necessary."  Send resumes and references to Don Foy (elder and chair of search committee) dfoy@mac.com.  

AL: The congregation in Tuscumbia is looking for a new Youth Minister.  They have an attendance of about 350-400 on Sunday mornings.  The previous YM was there about 10 years. Part of their post says that they are looking for a "responsible, energetic, organized, and Godly young man to lead our VBS, Lads to Leaders, devotionals, local and out of town trips, teach on a weekly basis, and to mentor our youth and help them grow closer together and to God."
