TN: From David Lipe - "Hello friends. Thought I would give you an update on my status. After nearly 3 years as director of Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies formerly East Tennessee School of Preaching, I am stepping down as director. I have been driving to Knoxville from Cookeville each week since accepting he position. For now I am continuing to teach a class from my home each quarter and also will be helping some in fund raising and recruitment. Also, February will be the last lectureship I will be directing at FHU after 22 years. In addition to the part time activity at the school, I am writing a commentary on the Gospel of John for Truth for Today, lecturing, conducting meetings and seminars, and doing some fill in preaching. So, I have officially retired from a full time job but still am very active. I have 12 or so gospel meetings for 2015 along with some lecture appointments and hope to increase my evangelistic work. I still believe strongly that it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save. Lord willing, I will do this until I fall over but I have no plans to seek a full time job doing anything. Thanks for being my friends. Put the word out about my availability to preach and lecture if you will. I pray the Lord's blessings on you in the coming year."
