Stepping into the arena

Father:

Help these, Your men, know that they step into the fray by the very choice to teach, preach, minister. Keep them aware that they step into the pain of others, to the loss and hurt in others lives, into satan’s firing range, into the reality that some will seek to harm them or belittle their noble efforts. And while that will hurt, help them to remember that as they so do, they identify with You and that they are not alone. That there are many brothers and sisters who will love them, and who pray for them, many ministers who will share their pain and wish to encourage them, and there is You who stand with them and refuse to forsake them. And, may they be strengthened by that fact.
