A Prayer for Awareness

Dear Father in Heaven, In our world these days it is so easy for us to lose our focus. In an attempt to be acutely aware concerning one issue, it is possible that we will not have an awareness about a myriad of other important topics. 

Dear God, we pray that You will help all of Your men who preach to be fully aware. Help us to be aware of the presence of Jesus in our lives, in our worship, & in our preaching. Help us to be aware that sin is the root issue of all other wrongs. Help us to be aware of the concerns of those around us. Help us to be aware of the fact that Jesus & His Good News is the cure for all sin as well as the greatest need of all people.

Father, help us to be aware of the importance of bringing Your Word to bear on the problems, the sin, and the hearts of mankind. May we be fully aware that You are a God who keeps His promises and that You have promised when we speak Your Word it will not return void. May every preacher that belongs to You be aware of how much You love them, how much You care for them, and how much You value the work they do for You.
