We pray today for Your preachers around the world. We pray that all of us will remember to keep our eyes on Jesus. In our day, it’s so easy to turn our eyes away from our Lord and look at politics, health concerns, and a divided world. It becomes easy for us to set our affections on things of this earth.
We pray that You will help us to remember not to love the things of this world. May Your men keep their eyes on Jesus as they prepare their sermons, as they pray about their sermons, and as they preach Your message. As well, we pray that you will help all of us who preach to encourage and challenge Your people to turn their glance away from the world and keep their eyes on our Savior.
