We Need You, Dear God

Dear Father, As we pillow our heads tonight we do so remembering the words to the old hymn. “We need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord, no tender voice like Thine can peace afford.” We pray that You will be with all of Your men that they will rest knowing that You are indeed a gracious God. May Your grace give them peace as they consider the Word that they will preach tomorrow. Father, we thank You for loving us and for staying with us. Help us to so speak and so live in a way that glorifies You. In the Name of the Prince of Peace, we pray, Amen.
