Thank You, Dear God For This Honor

Dear Loving Father,

As the seasons change and the days roll by, it is easy to become complacent. We pray that you will help us not get in a rut in our preaching of Your Word. Help us to guard against growing cold in our love for You, Your Word, and Your people. Dear God, we pray that You will be with Your men today as they think about the life-changing, life-giving Good News they will speak tomorrow. 

May we never forget what a tremendous honor it is to preach Your Word. May we do our best to live up to this honor that You have made possible for us. In the Name of Jesus, Your Son, and our Savior, We Pray, Amen.
