Our Father Knows

Dear Heavenly Father,

As men who desire to preach Your Word, we approach Your Throne of Grace understanding that You know us better than we know ourselves. You know our strengths and weaknesses better than we do. You know our hearts and the hearts of the people who will listen to Your Word better than we do. You know what we need to preach and what Your people need to hear better than we do.

Dear God, we pray that You will help all of us who preach to rely on You, to trust You, to allow us to speak only what You want us to speak. Help us to do our best to get ourselves out of the way so that those who gather will see and hear Jesus.
