To the Praise of His Glory

Dear Loving Father,

Our prayer today is that every preacher who proclaims Your matchless Word this weekend will do so for Your glory and not our own. May all of us glorify You in our preparation and our presentation. Help us to live our lives every day for Your glory. Dear God, please forgive us when we are weak and when we are tempted to preach or teach in a way that would seem to prop us up, rather than making Your name great among all the people who hear us. May each of us who preach Your Word on Sunday encourage and call all of the hearers to worship and live to the praise of Your Glory.
