The Word of God

Dear Father,

We thank You for the awesome privilege of being able to preach Your Word. We thank You that we do not have to create something new, but that we are blessed to employ Your Everlasting Word each week. We are thankful that as we study and as we preach, we have Your Divine Promise that Your Word will accomplish the intended purpose. Help us, Dear God to trust that promise, to trust that every Word of Scripture is true, perfect, and a blessing to everyone who hears it. May those of us who preach deliver Your Word, with love and grace. May we preach with passion and compassion. May our hearts be filled and overflowing with Your Word. In the Name of The Word who became flesh we pray, Amen.
