Let Them Hear Jesus

Dear Father,

As your men prepare to preach Your Word on Sunday, they live with the realization that this could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance for people to hear them talk about Jesus. We know that many will assemble tomorrow with a longing in their hearts. Their hearts will be empty, and they are searching for something to fill the void. Holy Father, may Your men remember that only Jesus can fill the empty heart. May these men not shy away from preaching about how our Risen Savior continues to bring peace, joy, and hope. As Your preachers around the world proclaim the Word of the Risen Lord, may all who gather hear the unmistakable call of Jesus through their words. Dear God, prepare us and strengthen us for this noble purpose.
