God’s Purpose & Plan

Dear Loving Father,

We are overwhelmed and overjoyed that you allow us to participate in Your eternal plan and purpose. We realize that You could have chosen another way to get your message out to the masses. Thank you, Dear God, for deciding to use human instrumentation to make your plan known to the world. Please shield us from thinking we are unique or have done something to deserve the high privilege of sharing the Good News with others. Please help us to remember that we are clay pots that carry this life-giving news. Father, we pray that You will be with each of Your messengers on Sunday and that we will be conscious of the reality that this is Your Gospel and that we are allowed to preach it because of Your Grace. May all of us who endeavor to carry out this vital task do so with humility and gratitude.
