A Prayer in Preparation for Worship

Dear Loving Father in Heaven,

As we prepare and plan to worship You on Your Day, we pray that everything we do will bring glory to You. As preachers, we pray that we can help strengthen the faith of those who worship. We pray that our walk with You will be sweeter because of the opportunity to spend time with Your people.

Help us, Dear Lord, to remember that as preachers, we join others in Your family to pour out our hearts to You. Please, Dear God, help us to be committed to You every day of our lives and in every part of our lives. May we spend every day growing into Your Son’s beautiful image.
