Distractions

Distractions

Dear Loving Father,

In a world that craves attention, we pray that You will help Your preachers to not become easily distracted. There are so many things in life that cry out to us that seem highly important. Help those of us who preach understand the importance and the value of using our time wisely. May Your men spend the appropriate amount of time in study, preparation, and prayer.

There are times even when we are gathered with Your people that it is easy to become distracted with mundane matters. Help Your men remain focused on the task at hand when we meet with Your people on Sunday. Help us to follow in the steps of our Savior who remained singularly focused in His life. Help us to rely completely on You as we stand before people who are prayerfully hungry to hear Your Word. Bless these men who have dedicated their lives to You and the preaching of the Good News. We thank You, Dear God, for each one of them and we pray that You will bring them all that they need to be focused on the greatest need of the hour. In Jesus Precious Name we pray, Amen.
