For our leaders....

Father:

What a week we have had. Some have experienced drama in their lives this week from external sources, some from within. Father, we pray for those with any sort of authority over our lives: For government leaders, may they govern in a manner that allows Your people to live quiet and peaceable lives. For Congregational leaders, may they lead in a manner that feeds Your people and Shepherds them to green pastures and may they care deeply for those reading this, Your special servants. For the fathers on our local churches, may they lead in a manner that directs their family to You and may they seek the good at all times. Father, we pray that the week ahead will begin to bring some calm to our world and that the Gospel will have free course.
