We live in a world where there is so much concern, chaos, and confusion everywhere we turn. We see confusion in politics, in health care, in jobs, in families, and even in the church. We see confusion about our past, our present, and our future. Dear God,we pray for the men who will preach Your Word of peace on Sunday, that they will speak with clear hearts and clear minds.
We pray that these men will clearly present Your Gospel of Peace in a way that will help remove confusion in the minds of those who listen. We are thankful that we have a Word from You that isn’t confusing or unclear in any way. We pray that as we gather with Your people that You will remove chaos from our hearts and fill them with a desire to know You better. We thank You and we praise You for these men who have prepared themselves for this moment. May the clarity that comes through Your Divine Word bring peace, joy, and certainty to the hearts of Your people.
