Today, we are thankful for your promise to “heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.” As we approach the day of Worship, we are reminded that many of your people around the world are living with hearts that have been devastated this week. We are also aware that many preachers are heartbroken by the pain they have witnessed in the lives of people they love. We thank You for these men who have ministered even through their own pain and heartache.
We pray that You will surround these men with Your love and that they will be able to speak words of peace and comfort to those who are hurting. May we never forget that You are the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our afflictions. We pray in the Name of the One who brings peace to our broken hearts, Amen.
