We thank You that You are the Father of all mercy. We are thankful that You sent Your Son into this world to teach us mercy and to show us mercy. We are thankful that You are so merciful to all of us, even when we don’t deserve Your mercy. We thank You for the mercy that You shower upon the men who preach Your Word. Dear God, we pray that You will help us to be more merciful. May we show mercy in our actions to others. May we teach others how to be merciful through the words that we teach and with our lives. We pray that our sermons on Sunday, as well as our hearts, will be filled with mercy. Father, please help those of us who have studied mercy so much and taught mercy so much, that we would be expressions of Your mercy to everyone we come in contact with. In the Name of our Merciful Savior, We Pray, Amen.
