FYI: Glann Lee died peacefully, Tuesday morning, October 18, at his home. His viewing will be Friday, from 5-9 PM, at the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ (Waynesboro, TN), with the funeral at 10 AM, Saturday, at the church building. Those who were impacted by Glann are asked to write a brief tribute to him along the lines, "Glann's lasting lessons to me." These will be put in a book for Craig and the girls. TN/NV: Tony Stafford gets this week’s “self-scoop” - He is going to start working with the Old Hope congregation in Thompson's Station TN at the end of October. This leaves the preaching position open at the Pahrump Church of Christ in Pahrump NV. Pahrump is 60 miles west of Las Vegas and 60 miles east of Death Valley. The church has a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house on the property, utilities are included, and a small salary. Retired, outside work or some other means of support will be necessary. Membership is about 20 and most are retired. Tony is leaving on wonderful terms wanting to move closer to family. TX: New Road Church of Christ is looking for a pulpit minister. The successful candidate will have a degree with a major or heavy emphasis on Biblical Studies from an approved Bible Institute or College. In their words: “Candidates for employment must sign a statement affirming their agreement with and support of worship, teaching, and behavior practices defined in the Articles of Incorporation of the New Road Southwest Church of Christ, Inc. Annual affirmation of agreement and support is required. A doctrinal questionnaire will be presented to candidates prior to the beginning of the interview process.
