KY: The Henderson church is looking to hire a Youth and Family Minister who will work with their young people and parents. Henderson is a church of 250 located on the Kentucky/Indiana line. The church has a great opportunity to reach a large segment of the young people in a three county area. The ideal candidate will be someone talented in reaching young people who are not currently in a church setting. He will also be able to assist (but not replace) parents in their God given role as spiritual providers for their children. FL: The Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ is looking for a Family Minister. This position entails working with a focus on families with children in 1st 12t grades. They wish to promote relationships among all age groups, and for this reason want the family minister to be involved in the lives of children, teens, and adults of all ages. Specific duties include coordinating classes and developing a yearly calendar of activities for students and families, working with the community group program, and coordinating with other ministers, elders, deacons, and ministry leaders to promote the spiritual growth of the church. They desire that the family minister provide training and opportunities for parents, young adults, and others with leadership capabilities to plan, host, and lead youth group and family activities. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor’s degree and previous experience in ministry. They are willing to consider proposals for full-time or part-time appointments. Depending on the skills and interests of the family minister, there will also be opportunities to lead in worship, outreach, missions, counseling, teaching, and preaching.
