NC: Dale Babinsky is leaving the South Stokes church at the end of May to work as a faculty member at Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies. So,the church in King, NC is looking for a full time minister who will work with the members and reach out to the community. www.southstokeschurch.org
Among other things they want a man with strong interpersonal skills, who is self-motivated and has a desire to continually grow in his profession. The church has roughly 70 members and King is near Winston-Salem and Mount Airy. They currently do not have elders or deacons. In addition to preaching, teaching and being a leader in Community Outreach, Social media/Website experience is a plus. They have a three bedroom parsonage on the church property. MI: The Swartz Creek Church of Christ in Michigan is looking for a Youth Minister. We currently have a membership of 265 plus. The congregation is led by 4 Elders and has 8 Deacons and a full time Pulpit Minister. KY: As posted last scoops Steven Hunter is leaving Lehman Avenue in Bowling Green to go to Glendale Road in Murray, Kentucky to preach. On May 8 Mike Greene announced his retirement from Lehman Avenue in Bowling Green (Mike is not from preaching, just from Lehman) as of sometime later this year. Daniel Gaines will be returning from the mission field July 26 to assume the pulpit position at Lehman upon Mike’s retirement. ALSO, Edwin Jones will be coming to Lehman to assume the Associate Minister’s position effective August 1. Mike will be looking to move back to the Columbia, Tennessee when he leaves Lehman and will be looking for a part time preaching/ministry position.
CA: Wayne Roberts is leaving the associate minister role at Ripon, CA and will continue to do “His Shoes/Her Shoes” marriage seminars with Tami. He is looking to perhaps relocate to Texas or Oklahoma.
KY: Western Kentucky Youth Camp (WKYC) is currently looking to hire a summer intern. WKYC is located in western Kentucky near the town of Marion. The interns’ duties would include mowing, trimming, stocking the kitchen and bathrooms, cleaning and light duty maintenance. Some weekly directors may choose to use the intern to lead in worship or assist with teaching and other activities. The starting date is negotiable but required to be before May 29, 2016. The camp season runs through the end of July. This is a paid position with room and board provided. The candidate must be a self-starter & a motivated individual who is in good health and be able to complete physical tasks. A back ground check is required. TX: The Crosby Church of Christ is looking for a preacher that wants to “raise their family in a great community.” Crosby is thirty minutes from downtown Houston.
