FL: Concord Street Church of Christ is looking for a preacher.They are looking for someone to “help plan and implement programs and activities for the spiritual and numerical growth of the congregation.” They want a soul-winner and equipper. The selected candidate will lead and direct office staff and other ministers. They are active in Lads-to-Leaders and World Bible School. AL: Heath Stripling has been named the youth minister for Heritage Place Church of Christ in the Birmingham area.

 

FL:  The Northwest Tampa church is excited to announce that they are looking for a new youth minister to primarily work with grades 6-12. Tampa is a unique and rapidly growing area and they are looking for a guy who will be committed to working there. The church has about 300 members and about 130 of those are between ages 0-18!  They are wanting to grow and ready to grow.  They are beginning a campaign so they can build a new multipurpose building, with a large new kitchen, adult classrooms, new youth wing, expanded lobby.  It’s an exciting time.  They would prefer someone who has some experience, either through internships or their own ministry.  For more info go to:  www.tampachurch.org and/or contact: Lane Widick at lanewidick@gmail.com

TN: The Capital Hill church is looking for a part time preacher. Capitol Hill is in Decherd near Winchester.  They average 50-65 each Sunday with a number of youth and children. TN: Miles Cotham is retiring from full time ministry after 50 years and 35 years with the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ in Nashville. Miles was a missionary in Singapore for six years and taught at Ezell Harding Christian School for over 20 years. He was the French Speaker for the Restoration Radio Program. TN: Old Union church near Gallatin has hired Stephen Russell to be their preacher. He was the youth minister at Hartselle Pike. That may mean an opening there: http://hartsvillepikecoc.com/.

 

TN: A.T. Pate has resigned at Central in downtown Nashville. 

 

TN: The Happy Haven Children’s Home continues to be in need of houseparents. This might be a good supplement for a preacher and his wife at a part time work or in between churches. They provide residential child care for girls.  The wife would be salaried as housemother; the husband can be employed off campus. Compensation includes: $22,000 salary for house mother, large home with free rent & utilities, use of passenger van & commissary, and other benefits.  Want to know more?
