PA: The Susquehanna Valley Church of Christ located in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania is currently looking for an evangelist. It is a congregation of around 100. They are open to adapt their search and job description to a man’s needs, strengths and weaknesses. The salary range for this position is somewhere in the $50,000 range. TX: Andy Baker is leaving the work at Maud, Texas and moving to Rosenberg, Texas to work with the Graeber Road congregation. AL/TN: Paddy Flanigan gets the self-scoop of the week. He is moving to be the preacher at Owens Cross Roads just outside of Huntsville (I should get a medal for tracking down the correct name). I started to title this one: Would you rather work with Dan or Paddy? Because OCR is looking for a YM too (see last Scoops) and this means Dan and Concord Road is looking.
TN: So, in case you might have missed it, Concord Road, in Brentwood, is looking for a YM too. Paddy was there for, according to Dan, “11 fantastic years.” CR is a congregation of 475-500 with a youth group of 70+ kids. They are opening a brand new 20,000 square foot Education Center in March. KY: The church located in Berea is seeking a full-time minister. They want a man who is “mature in the faith, believes the Bible as the inspired word of God and is able to effectively communicate His truths for the edification of the congregation and growth of the church. Applicant must be someone who is positive, optimistic, goal-oriented and willing to work under the oversight of three elders.” Are you up to it? TN: The Smyrna church is seeking a youth minister. They are a 500 member congregation and want a man with “a personality that connects with all ages. He must have a love for the Lord, for His word, and for the lost in our fast-growing town of 40,000.” Their qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with Bible / Youth Ministry preferred. Five years of experience in Youth Ministry preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong faith and commitment to the calling of the Lord as a youth minister. TN: The Maple Hill church in Lebanon has hired Rob Long from Leander, TX as their new preacher. He began January 21.

AL: Mobile Inner City Church of Christ is a congregation dedicated to the Lord’s work by bringing the Gospel to the inner city of Mobile, AL. They are small but growing with a mix of very mature disciples as well as many brand new ones.
