TN: As many of you know a dear brother, Stan Mitchell died suddenly last week. He wrote well, did mission work and the last several years has taught at Freed-Hardeman and preached at the Red Walnut church. This good and effective brother will be missed here. As in the life of a church though, Red Walnut will need to hire a new preacher. Their attendance runs 90-110 and they will probably be looking for a part time man. KY: The Fairdealing church is located in the beautiful Kentucky Lakes area of Marshall County. They are a very small congregation and are currently seeking to hire a community/mission-minded minster to help them grow in both faith and number. AR: The Farmington church is looking for an associate minister whose primary role would be to oversee the congregation's youth ministry, but would also help out with preaching responsibilities, education ministry, and in other areas. Farmington’s attendance is 225 with five elders and fifteen deacons. The previous minister in this role stayed for 13 years and is leaving on good terms for a new role in Searcy. KY: The Christian Counseling Center announces that Diane Reid is leaving them. MS: Mark Shiers is leaving the West President congregation in Greenwood, MS on good terms. He has accepted the preaching position that was open at the Mayfield congregation in Saltillo. 

SC: The Twin City congregation in Batesburg-Leesville is looking for their next preacher. The current preacher, Wade Phillips, is leaving the local work so he and his wife can pursue full-time work in the mission field in Guam. Twin City is a small but loving congregation. AL: The Cleveland congregation in Berry is looking for a preacher. They have a nice 3 bedroom, brick home. Preachers typically stay a long time. Attendance runs 75-100. Call Paul Davidson, elder 205 689-4143 with questions.

GA: The church of Christ in Warner Robins GA seeks to hire a full-time youth minister. They are a congregation over 200 with more than 60 youth (elementary & teens) and have purchased 9 acres for a new building to hold over 450 with room to grow. The ideal candidate has a Biblical education equivalent to a bachelor's degree or is a graduate of a Biblical college or institute. Some experience as a youth minister is preferred. They want a married man with a strong faith. Primary responsibilities include working with the youth deacons (elementary, 6th-12th grades, & L2L) to help plan and implement all aspects of the youth program. The applicant will be expected to preach occasionally, teach, and actively participate in the life of the church family.
