NV: The Pahrump church is looking for a full time preacher. They have approximately 25-30 members with some transient members who are present part of the year. Pahrump is about 60 miles west of Las Vegas with a population of roughly 40,000. There is a 3 bedroom/2 bath parsonage available with full utilities. AL: Scoop to Eddie Boggess. The Georgiana church is looking for a preacher. They have around 50. Their preacher, Russell Carnley, passed away last month after a long battle with cancer. They have a house available. They are on Facebook, but I do not find a website for them. Here is the number listed: 334 376-2768.
GA: The church in Quitman is looking for a preacher. They are a congregation of about 100-110 and are looking for a full time minister. The current preacher is transitioning to another occupation but is helping with the transition. The candidate chosen will need to be able to relate to all age groups, as he will be the only minister. “Salary level has been researched and will be at least up to current standards for our size congregation.” They have had elders and deacons for many years. The building have been remodels and added onto twice in the past 3 years. Quitman is a small southern town in close to Valdosta and Thomasville, Georgia. A number from the congregation have attended Georgia Christian School in Valdosta. General expectations: fulfill the pulpit duties full time, teach at least one class on a regular basis, prepare the bulletin, keep scheduled office hours, make visits, etc. They would like applicants to be married and possibly have a family that plans to live in or near Quitman or over near Valdosta. AL: Scoops to Harry Hames. The Moulton Church of Christ has about 200 members and is accepting applications for a new minister as their current one, O.D. Bowling, is retiring at the end of year. https://www.moultonchurchofchrist.org/.

IL: The Mt Vernon church has hired Richard McCurdy of Jamestown, New York to begin his work with them in April.
AL: Justin Maynard is the new youth and family minister at Spanish Fort.
AR: The South Thornton church is looking for a part-time youth/associate minister. South Thornton averages 150 members and has four elders, six deacons, a pulpit minister, and a secretary. Most of their youth/associate ministers have been Bible students at Crowley’s Ridge College. They believe this to be a great opportunity for a new student there or a bi-vocational minister. Primary responsibilities would be directing Vacation Bible School, teaching the teenage class on Sundays and Wednesdays, and preach the Sunday sermons once a month.
