AR: A special ministry position is open at Truth for Today World Mission School, Inc. (TFTWMS).  TFTWMS is looking for a person to serve as an assistant to its director. The Director, Eddie Cloer, through the consent of its board, has made this announcement and is interviewing any interested candidates. This ministry position is a position of evangelism and edification with one of the largest mission works that our brotherhood has. TFTWMS serves through three major levels of evangelism and edification: First, regarding national preachers, it wants to encourage the national preacher by sending to him each month expository studies in thirteen languages. Second, regarding teachers, TFTWMS is nurturing around 10,000 Christians into being teachers of “The Life of Christ” in two-tenths of the earth each year. It plans to continue this teacher/recruiting effort until it has covered the entire earth during the next five years. They want to cultivate 100,000 grassroots teachers of “The Life of Christ” who will be effectively teaching people around them throughout the world. Third, regarding students, TFTWMS provides responsible biblical studies for most of the world through its online school or learning center. See www.ThroughTheScriptures.com. At the present time, the school has 426 courses and around 2,000 full-time students who are making their way through the Scriptures online. The school utilizes 23 of the major languages of the earth, and this linguistic characteristic gives native-language access to 70 percent of the people of the earth. The position TFTWMS seeks to fill is a two-part ministry. First, the one who fills this ministry position will dedicate half of his time to working with the commentary series until it is finished and with the online school as it is improved and expanded. The second part of this ministry will concentrate upon covering two-tenths of the earth each year with “The Life of Christ” teacher recruiting effort. He will assist in this coverage by putting together the strategies, mailings, and the identification of proposed teachers. He will be designing, writing, researching, evangelizing, edifying, and preaching. “The support salary is above average, and the position has good Christian incentives and benefits. It would be hard to estimate the amount of good in the world that this ministry  position will allow a person to accomplish. The position focuses almost entirely upon the main point of the Great Commission, that is, upon its global coverage with the message of Christ. The ministry position will require a good education in the Scriptures and a working knowledge of Greek and Hebrew. If the candidate does not have these language skills, he must have a strong desire to immediately acquire them. He must have an above-average interest in writing Christian literature. In addition, he must have a good and actively growing knowledge of computer and Internet abilities. Above all, he must have an incurable ambition to cover the earth with the gospel of Christ. If you are interested in this ministry position, please contact us at Truth for Today World Mission School, Inc., 2209 Benton St, Searcy, AR, 72143. Phone: 501-268-7588.
