AL: The College Avenue Church in Enterprise [pop. ~30,000] is seeking a full-time "family-life" evangelist. They are a congregation of 170 members with five elders and eleven deacons. Enterprise is a diverse military community, right outside Fort Rucker, the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence. They “will consider applicants who are scripturally sound, socially engaged, and committed to expanding the borders of the Kingdom.” They want someone with experience and who has a passion for evangelism. Applicants must be experienced, focused, self-directed, and have a passion for evangelism. Here are some the expectations: - Conduct Community Outreach to reach the youth in the area. - Teach youth group classes on Sunday and Wednesday. - Conduct Bible studies, counsel. - Help coordinate VBS, youth rallies, and other community and Kingdom events. - Attend CYC, WKYS, and other events with the youth group. - Create a curriculum for the youth group. - Conduct devotionals with the youth group. - Plan weekly youth group events. - Attend school events of youth group members. - Periodically visit youth and their families. - Preach, lead singing, and serve in areas of worship when called upon. - Be proficient in Microsoft Office. - Have a college degree, preferably in Youth/Family Ministry. - Has had a driver’s license for a minimum of 5 years (preferred but not required). Starting salary is $15,000 per year, an additional source of income will be needed.

TN: The Great Oaks Church of Christ in Memphis is looking for an Involvement Minister. This is a new addition to the current ministry staff, which includes a preaching minister, college/20’s minister, Spanish minister, and youth minister. The Involvement Minister will focus on relationships and getting people connected and involved, including new Christians and new members of the church family. Great Oaks is located in the Wolfchase area of Memphis, one of the region’s biggest shopping areas and a crossroads between 4 Memphis suburbs: Bartlett, Cordova, Lakeland, and Arlington.
