OK: The church of Christ in Mangum is looking for a full-time pulpit minister. They are a well-established church that has been at this location since 1950. They have three elders, three deacons, and about 75 members, an active youth group. They’d prefer a young man with a family who is a good communicator, preaches and teaches biblical truth, and will be involved in the community. TN: Part-time Associate/Youth Minister/Songleader (or combination) needed by the Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in Lavergne.  Contact Perry Taylor, minister, 615-854-1515. Jefferson Pike is a small church with big hearts!  Their building is now paid off, and they hope to fill it with the help of the members and the help of the Lord! They do not have many youth, but need assistance with them and hopefully reaching others in the community.  They need someone to teach the class and preferably lead singing as well.  A home could be provided, and the salary is negotiable.  If interested, have questions, or want to know more, please call!

AL: Rickey Collum, minister at Hackleburg Church of Christ, has been hired as the pulpit minister at Mars Hill Church of Christ in Florence.

NC: Mark Casella has taken the Pulpit Position at the Central Union Church of Christ in Monroe. This is my first full-time Pulpit position after being a Youth and Family Minister. 

TN: Dane Berkley has started working with the Willow Ave church in Cookeville as their Youth Minister. 

FL: The Century church is searching for a full-time minister.  They “prefer a friendly, outgoing, married man with a wife that is also a Christian and is active in the Lord’s work.”  They would like to find a man grounded in the gospel that would work with them for a long period of time. In addition to preaching and teaching, the minister would be expected to compile a weekly bulletin, do frequent visitations, have good writing and public speaking skills, and be able to present lessons using PowerPoint. The minister would also be expected to encourage, help plan, and participate in activities with the youth. The Century church is located about two miles inside the state of Florida from the Alabama – Florida state line.  They are about 45 miles north of Pensacola, Florida, and about 70 miles east of Mobile, Alabama. They support several mission works and two TV programs.  The attendance averages about 85 for Sunday morning worship. There are currently two elders and two deacons serving the congregation. TX/CO: Jon Warner has accepted the position of the Director of Alumni Relations for BVBI. Kolton Ballance, who was previously in that role, will now dedicate his time to the work with the Conifer church. Jon currently serves as the Development Director for World Video Bible School (WVBS). He will continue to live in New Braunfels and continue to serve as an elder at the University church in San Marcos.

TN: Michael Green has accepted the position of Dean of Students at the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Knoxville. After five years with the Cawson Street church in Hopewell, Virginia, he is leaving on good terms. 

VA: The Cawson Street Church of Christ has been established in the community for approximately eighty-one (81) years. Sunday morning attendance averages approximately 150. They strive to be “A Christ-Centered Family Where Every Person Is Valued.” They are a very diverse group: racially, ages, economically, military and veterans, and work experience and professions. The church supports five national missions and three international missions. Included in their various outreach ministries are: The Crafters Group; Active Youth Group (P/T Associate Minister of Youth and Family Activities); VBS; Lads2Leaders/Leaderettes; Trail Life Scouting; Small Group Fellowships; Wednesday Night Summer Bible Series; Annual Weekend-In-the-Word; Mighty Men’s Mentoring Workshop; Grieving Saints Ministry; Safety & Security Ministry; others. AR: Dakota Cross has accepted a teaching position at Crowleys Ridge College. He has been at Lawson Road church 879 CR 407 Jonesboro, located on the south side of Jonesboro. They are a church of about 45 members. And “are in search of a sound conservative pulpit minister with a love for teaching and preaching the whole counsel of God.” They prefer him to have at least three years of preaching experience for this full-time position. It is an active congregation that has youth devotionals each month, followed by a fellowship meal. They have two gospel meetings each year and VBS in the summer. And they host a community coat drive each fall. They would ask that the minister be willing to do personal work along with the members at Lawson Road. CA: The Canyon View church is looking for a preaching minister.   who will partner with the congregation and its leaders to preach and teach the truth of the gospel, save souls, and equip and encourage our members. FL: The Sanford Church of Christ is seeking a preaching minister/evangelist. Their present preacher, Walt Person, is in the process of seeking to retire after serving 20 years. The incoming minister would work under the oversight of three Elders. He would also be working with the present youth and young adult ministers. The congregation has a good mix of young and old, with an average attendance of 140 on Sundays. TN: The Heritage Church of Christ in Franklin, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time Pulpit Minister. They are a “warm, generous, and caring congregation of 75-100.” They desire a married man “who is sound in the faith, knowledgeable in the scripture, and can work with all ages.” They have a good mix of ages with several young families. KY: The Elizabethtown church is seeking an associate minister. The Elizabethtown community is set to experience unprecedented growth with the new Ford Battery plant already under construction. The congregation has an average attendance of 165 on Sunday mornings and is led by three elders. The associate minister will have the opportunity to preach one Sunday morning and one Sunday evening each month. The associate minister will also work with the young people in various capacities, especially in teaching Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes. GA – Atlanta Road church/Iglesia de Cristo de Atlanta Road is in Gainesville and is seeking a part-time, bilingual (Spanish) minister.  Atlanta Road has had a Spanish ministry for more than 25 years.  The English-speaking assembly has approximately 110 members, and the Spanish assembly numbers about 40 members. They are seeking a minister who has been formally trained in a brotherhood program. Candidates need to have effective communication skills in both English and Spanish as well as good interpersonal skills.  he Spanish-speaking assembly meets Sunday morning for Bible study and worship and again on Wednesday nights for Bible study. They are not currently meeting on Sunday evenings, but this is something they would like to explore. The Spanish assembly is active in the community as well as other Spanish-speaking congregations in the metro Atlanta area.
