TX: The Sterling City Church Of Christ is looking for a full-time preacher. Sterling City is a small town in West central Texas and the church has a weekly attendance of 40-50 members. A nice 4 bedroom 3 bath parsonage with all bills paid will be provided. SC is a friendly community with an excellent school system and is a great place to raise children. All children attending school in this district will receive $4,500.00 PER YEAR towards college or a higher learning tuition. They have no age preference but need a man that is energetic enough to be youth oriented. The preacher must be active in the community as well as have a presence at the nursing home. They want a preacher that will speak were the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible does. AL: Greg Pollock is leaving the pulpit of the Cornerstone church near Florence and will be working with Mars Hill Bible School. He would also like to preach somewhere in the area.
FL/AR: The Port Charlotte congregation has just hired Bryan Winn as their new Pulpit Minister. Bryan will be relocating from the Tulsa, Ok area in September. Richard Combs moving to work with his twin brother Robert at the Main Street church in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
TN: the Eastridge church in Chattanooga is looking for a full-time youth minister to work with 3 other ministers with major emphasis leading a youth group of 40-50. Send resume to office@ercoc.com.
TN: The Concord Road congregation in Brentwood is looking for a new youth minister. Their youth minister of the last five years, Keith O’Neal, accepted a new position as Head of School at Mt. Dora Christian Academy in Florida. Concord Road has an average attendance of around 500 and a youth group of approximately 80. AR: Scoop to David Pittsford. The Mountain Home church has hired Joshua Adams to be their new preacher. He is moving from Germantown where he was the Youth Minister.
FL: The North Tampa Church of Christ (https://northtampa.church) is seeking a Full Time Associate Minister to be actively involved in continuing their growth. They “are a family of Christ followers, all sinners, trying to live as Jesus taught, caring for each other, and loving our neighbors as we share joys, pains, and prayers.” Their Mission Statement is: “Helping Each Other Become Passionate Followers of Christ.” The Associate Minister will initially focus on working with the Dynamic Youth program and Young Professionals – both of which have been experiencing significant growth. IL: The Harrisburg church is looking for a new minister to help evangelize and serve the community. The position will be available in mid September 2023. They are a church of about 40 members. They do not have elders at this point. The building will hold about 200 with classrooms and a fellowship area. They have a good history of longevity with their ministers (10+ years). The annual budget is $100,152.00 and they are debt free with solid financial backing. Harrisburg sends House to House to every resident. They strive to be actively involved in the community. TN: The Spencer Hill Church of Christ is searching for a preacher. Attendance on Sunday morning is generally around 50-60. They consider themselves very loving and friendly. The current preacher is leaving on good terms to begin working with the place where he began his Christian journey several years ago. Spencer Hill is located about 7 miles outside of Mt. Pleasant. TN: Self-scoop to Bobby Wayne Lee. He has accepted the full time youth minister position at Cornersville and will be leaving Westvue in Lewisburg where he has been their youth minister.
NC: The Woodland Church of Christ in Sylva is looking for a Full Time Pulpit Minister. Their attendance runs around 55. They are shepherded by 3 elders, assisted by two deacons. They have a successful campus ministry associated with nearby Western Carolina University, which adds a dozen or more students to the congregation each school year. They are in the immediate area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and The Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s a beautiful area. They believe they have an incredible opportunity to reach lost souls and need a preacher with a passion for doing just that. They have a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house adjacent to the facility includes utilities and salary with 2 weeks paid vacation plus all federal holidays. Applicants should have a Bible degree and also some preaching experience is preferred but not required. An outgoing, friendly personality is a must, along with an ability to meet and greet attendees every opportunity. Duties will include preparation and delivery of scriptural sermons each Sunday morning, leading adult class Bible study Wednesday evenings, sharing in conducting adult Bible study Sunday mornings, ministering to the sick and shut-in of the congregation, preparation and delivery of the bulletin each week, overseeing the congregation’s website including email and telephone contacts, preparing song service presentation projections, and overall helping the congregation conduct scripturally sound worship, outreach to the community, and love one another. OK: The church of Christ in Mangum is looking for a full-time pulpit minister. They are a well established church that has been at their location since 1950. They would prefer a young man with a family who is a good communicator, preaches and teaches biblical truth, and will be involved in the community. TN: The Tennessee Children’s Home Announces Its Search for a President. Tennessee Children’s Home, is an accredited childcare ministry. The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the agency and reports to its Board of Directors. The President is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the operations of the organization including implementation of programs and services, application of policy, fund development and accountability for all resources and assets of Tennessee Children’s Home. The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills and capabilities: • Leadership with the ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop talent • Administration and Management • Strategic Planning and vision• Fund development and management • Public communication and advocacy.
