Description: The Sanford Church of Christ is seeking a preaching minister/evangelist.  Their present preacher, Walt Person, is in the process of seeking to retire after serving 20 years.  The incoming minister would work under the oversight of three Elders.  He would also be working with the present youth and young adult ministers.  The congregation has a good mix of young and old with an average attendance of 140 on Sundays. They would prefer a married man with a family but that is not required.  The desired minister will have experience, be balanced in approach, and desiring a long-term relationship with a local work.  He will be a graduate of a brotherhood preaching school or college.  Will consider seasoned preachers if no degree is available.  Technology skills or the willingness and ability to learn are highly desired.  Please send initial contact to preachersearch@sanfordcoc.org.
