Description:
The Betta View Hills Church of Christ in Oxford, Alabama is seeking a dynamic Pulpit Minister with the ability to motivate the congregation with fresh, thought-provoking, and compelling sermons each week. The candidate must have the experience, skills, and desire necessary to reach out in a loving way with the Gospel of Christ to the congregation and community and to develop strong interpersonal relationships.

What they are looking for:

o   Vast knowledge of the Bible and be able to apply it wisely.

o   Commitment to outreach and evangelism.

o   A preaching style that uses positive motivation and application yet leads people to repentance and revival.

o   Ability to teach classes that edify and strengthen the members.

o   Willingness to engage membership in activities that benefit the community and provide outreach opportunities.

o   Ability to interact with a diverse membership of all ages.

o   Experience in bringing non-Christians in the community to Christ.

o   Experience growing a Church both spiritually and numerically.

o   A willingness to make hospital and home visits.

o   Able to lead singing is a Plus.

o   Ministry degree from a Christian University – Preferred.

o   Minimum combined 10 years of school and/or minister work – Preferred.
